| Early Christmas Cheer |

Mid Lothian pub, the Laird & Dog Inn is adding some festive cheer, by putting up its Christmas tree up 4 months early. The Laird & Dog in Lasswade planted the Christmas tree inside the pub to attract early Christmas booking. Manager David Kerr, says he put the tree up as an "advertising tool" to let customers know the Laird & Dog Inn will be open on Christmas Day for the first time. "The tree has caused quite a stir and there’s been mixed reaction to it. But it has made customers realise we are open for Christmas Day and we have received several bookings for Christmas Day and office Christmas lunches as a result!" |
